Leopards of Yala - No sightings for the Last two years
Padi Kema 3:3 male was born in late 2018 around the Ruk Vila area. In January 2020, there was this amazing sighting of this young male making a perfectly executed wild boar kill around the Digan Wala area. He was sighted again, killing a grey langur at Meynert Wewa.
Lōlugas Wala 2:2 male was first seen in November 2018, as a very young cub with his two siblings. Though his two siblings were seen recently, this male was last seen in early 2020. They were seen around Ūraniya road, Debaragas Wala, Lōlugas Wala, Palugas Wala 1&2, Siyambalagas Wala, Welmalkema, and Kotigala.
Komā Wewa 3:2 male was born in late 2018, around Komā Wewa. He was seen around Komā Wewa, Kotasiyabale, and Maila Wala of Medha Pāra. In November 2019, he was seen at Thalgasmankada, Darshana Wewa Junction, and Warahana. Since then, there haven’t been many sightings of this male.
Aluth Pāra 2:3 male was born in late 2019, with his sister, the Aluth Pāra 3:3 Female. They were first seen and photographed in December 2019 at Aluth Pāra. Though his sister wasn’t seen with them since September 2020, this male and his mother were seen from time to time around Warahana and Aluth Pāra.
