Ruk Vila 3:4 Female [YF 15/Hope]

Ruk Vila 3:4 female was first seen and photographed in August 2010, close to Buthawa Junction. By early 2018, she lost almost half of her tail. The reason is yet unknown. So far she has produced five successful litters.

Rawum Wala 3:3 Female (2008-2020) [YF 05/Stessi]

Rawum Wala 3:3 female was first photographed around the Kotābandi Wewa area in June 2011. She has proven her innate ability to foster successful litters by producing three. In April 2018, she tried to kill a stray dog in front of safari jeeps around Gōnalahaba Pitiya.

Rakina Wala 3:3 Female (2011) [YF 58/Bhagya]

Rakina Wala 3:3 female was first photographed as a cub in December 2011, with her mother the Rakina Wala 2:2 female, around the Yāla Wewa and the Yāla Junction area. She was mostly seen around the Rakina Wala area. No photographic evidence exists of this female since February 2012.

Rakina Wala 2:2 Female (2005-2016) [YF 03/Hamine]

Rakina Wala 2:2 female was born in early 2006, around the Andhun Oruwa area. She was a confident female and occasionally, she was seen with the legendary Andhun Oruwa male, aka “Hāmu”, in her territory.

Pattiya Wala 2:3 Female (2015) [YF 23/Patty]

Pattiya Wala 2:3 female was one of the most frequently seen female leopards around Mahaseelawa and Jamburagala road during the period of 2015-2016, with her sister, the Pattiya Wala 2:2 female.

Pattiya Wala 2:2 Female (2015) [YF 26/Ally]

Pattiya Wala 2:2 female was one of the most confident females found around the Mahaseelawa and Jamburagala areas in the period of 2015-2016. She was born in late 2015, with her sister, the Pattiya Wala 2:3 female. Their mother is the Mahaseelawa 2:2 female. This is her first known litter.

Mōdharagala 2:3 Female [YF 29/Monika]

Modaragala 2:3 female was first photographed at Medha Pāra in May 2012. Then in November 2016, she was spotted again at Medha Pāra, and in the same month, she was spotted on the Modharagala. It seems that by that time she established her territory there.

Mahaseelawa 2:2 Female (2010-2019) [YF 09/Rekha]

Mahaseelawa 2:2 female was first seen and photographed in 2010. She gave birth to her first known litter of two female cubs in 2015 around the areas of Mahaseelawa and Pattiya Wala. She mothered a litter of two male cubs in 2017, around Mahaseelawa.

Kotigala 3:2 Female (2014) [YF 20/Cara]

Kotigala 3:2 female was first photographed as a cub in October 2015, near Tanki Gala and Boralu Wala of the Main Road near Kotigala. She was a fairly confident female even at that young age.
