However, since December 2022, he has begun to roam around <strong>Maila Wala<\/strong> and <strong>Koma Wewa<\/strong> more regularly. Throughout 2023, sightings of him increased in the <strong>Maila Wala, Kaluwara Bokkuwa, and Koma Wewa areas.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Since early 2024, Maila Wala 3:3 was expanding his roaming areas towards Kotasiyabala, a contested area shared by the formidable<\/mark> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/pan-wala-22\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Pan Wala Male<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">and<\/mark> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/modhara-gala-34-male\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Modhara Gala Male<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In April 2024, he had a close encounter with Pan Wala male, resulting in visible scars on Maila Wala male\u2019s face.
