She was first photographed at Kud\u0101seelawa in August 2016, mating with the<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/jamburagala-45-male\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Jamburagala 4:5 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Then in 2017, she was seen around the Jamburagala Campsite Road with one cub. In 2020, she had two cubs around Kud\u0101seelawa and Pattiya Wala. Cubs are designated as the<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/kudaseelawa-12-female\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Kud\u0101seelawa 1:2 female<\/span><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">and<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/kudaseelawa-22-female\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Kud\u0101seelawa 2:2 female<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In the months of September and October 2020, there were a few regular sightings of this female. Her territory included the areas of <strong>Kud\u0101seelawa, Mahaseelawa, Weli <strong>\u0100<\/strong>ra, Pattiya Wala, B\u014dla Gala, Tanki Gala, Jamburagala Campsite Road and, Ginikasay\u0101 Wala.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In December 2022, she was sighted with two young cubs in the Weli-Ara area. Sadly, there were very few sightings of them afterward, and it was presumed that they had not survived. Around the same period, sightings of the Bola Gala female also became rare, until she gradually began reappearing along the <strong>Cinnamon Wild road, outside the national park<\/strong>.(Meanwhile, <strong>Kudaseelawa 1:2 female<\/strong>, a cub from her 2020 litter, established dominance over the territory).<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In March 2024, Bola Gala Female was seen on Cinnamon Wild road, and it was evident from her exposed nipples that she had been nursing cubs.<\/mark><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Bola = round in shape, Gala = rock] B\u014dla Gala 2:2 female is not the kind of female leopard that is frequently seen.
