{"id":396,"date":"2020-11-25T13:29:54","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T13:29:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/?p=396"},"modified":"2024-06-24T10:01:04","modified_gmt":"2024-06-24T10:01:04","slug":"ali-gala-43-female","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/ali-gala-43-female\/","title":{"rendered":"Ali Gala 4:3 Female (2016) [YF 07\/Sandy]"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">[Ali = elephant,  Gala = rock]<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Ali Gala 4:3 female was first photographed around Ali Gala in November 2016, with her sister the <\/mark><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/ali-gala-34-female-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Ali Gala 3:4 female 2<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Their mother was<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/ali-gala-34-female-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Ali Gala 3:4 female 1<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"> In 2017, she was a regular around the areas of <strong>Ali Gala, Premad<strong>\u0101sa<\/strong> Alley, and Sathmaga.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In November 2018, she was seen around the Ali Gala road with the<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/suduweli-mulla-32-male\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Suduwelimulla 3:2 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">She was sighted regularly around the Ali Gala Road and Sathmaga areas in early 2019. In early 2019, she was seen once with the <\/mark><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/galalukada-wewa-32-male\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Galalukada Wewa 3:2 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">at Pemdas Vila.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In the same year, she was observed with her first recorded litter, a single cub named<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/maila-wala-33-male-2021\/\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Maila Wala 3:3 Male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">This male cub grew into a fine specimen and moved towards Koma Wewa and Kotasiyabala by 2023. Meanwhile, in June 2023, Ali Gala Female was seen with her second litter of three cubs around the Sathmaga area.
