[Agil = Red cedar (Erythroxylum monogynum<\/em>)<\/a>, Wala = Waterhole]<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agil Wala 2:2 female was first photographed as a few months old cub at Agil Wala area of Medha Paara in February 2020 with her brother<\/mark> Agil Wala 2:2 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> and mother<\/mark> Modhara Gala 2:3 female<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were not recorded for a few months until October 2020. Unlike her brother, this female is very shy and always avoids vehicles. In January 2021 there was an interesting encounter of this female that she was seen at Modhara Gala with another adult female<\/mark>, Y Junction 2:2 female 2<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. Modhara Gala was a prominent area of Agil Wala female’s mother’s territory. Yet she was hardly seen in that area after this sighting<\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since early 2021 this female has been mostly seen in areas of Ehelagas Wala, Agil Wala, Kotabadi Wewa, Pan Wala,\u00a0 Thalgasmankada, and Darshana Wewa Junction.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a close encounter with the<\/mark> Rakina Wala 3:3 female<\/mark><\/strong> in November 2021. There wasn\u2019t any violence between them and they appeared to tolerate each other.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April 2022, she was seen with<\/mark> Lolugas Wala 4:3 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> around Darshana Wewa and Modharagala areas<\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
