His mother is the<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/koti-gala-32-female\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Kotigala 3:2 female<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">and this is her first recorded litter.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">He is a bold male and earned the Most Photographed Leopard title for the year 2020. He was such a performer, showing a great attitude and confidence in the presence of safari vehicles. As a sub-adult, he was frequently seen around <strong>Wilapalawa, Mahaseelawa, Weli \u0100ra, and Kaetagal Wala<\/strong>. There were a few sightings of him even outside the park (close to the Palatupana Entrance).<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Few interesting behaviors were observed where this male was seen with the Kud\u0101seelawa female cubs around the above-mentioned areas. In February 2021, there was an exciting sighting of a failed hunt of a buffalo calf made by the Wilapalawa male.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Though his sightings were less frequent in the latter 2021 and early 2022 he was still seen around Mahaseelawa, Pattiya Wala, Palatupana, and even outside the park. In February 2022 he was seen mating with<\/mark> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/kudaseelawa-12-female\/\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Kudaseelawa 1:2 female<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">at Pattiya Wala area.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">n April 2022 he was seen close to Ondatje junction along the Sithulpwaa road.<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Since then he has been establishing his territory around that area.
