She was living around the areas of <strong>Welmalkema and G\u014dnagala &#8211; Jamburagala<\/strong>. She was born in 2009 in the G\u014dnagala area.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">She managed to establish around the same area and her first known litter was recorded in May 2017, when she was seen with a young female cub, the<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/welmal-kema-44-female\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Welmalkema 4:4 female<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The cub was about two months old when it was seen near Palugas Wala in the \u016araniya area. Later, she took her cub towards Welmalkema.\u00a0This female cub became very relaxed around safari vehicles and became one of the most photographed leopards in Yala since then.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In July 2020, at the Jamburagala &#8211; G\u014dnagala Road, she was seen with a young male cub, who is the<\/mark> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">G\u014dnagala Road 4:4 male<\/mark><\/strong>. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">She managed to raise this male cub to adulthood.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In October 2021 she was found dead at Uraniya Plain. The cause of the death is suspected to be the attack of another leopard as several biting marks were visible on her body.
