Since then, she has been<strong> <\/strong>sighted at<strong> <\/strong>the <strong>Thalgasmankada Bungalow Road, Campsite Road, Pan Wala, Kot<strong>\u0101<\/strong>bendi Wewa, Kom<strong>\u0101<\/strong> Wewa, and the Northwestern stretch of Medha P<strong>\u0101<\/strong>ra reaching roughly up to Mayila Wala.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In April 2014, she was seen mating with the<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/mada-para\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Medha P\u0101ra 2:3 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">in the Kot\u0101bendi Wewa area. In 2015, she birthed a single female cub<\/mark> (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/kotabandi-wewa-23-female\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Kot\u0101bendi Wewa 2:3 female<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>), <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">who was born with the same confident air as her mother. This proved quite beneficial and provided us with some brilliant opportunities to view both of them together in their element. In November 2016, she was seen mating with<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/mada-para\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Medha P\u0101ra 2:3 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">again. In August 2017, she was spotted with two young male cubs around the Thelambugas Wala area of Medha P\u0101ra. Those two cubs grew up to be the<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/pan-wala-22\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Pan Wala 2:2 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">and the<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/pan-wala-33-male\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Pan Wala 3:3 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In January 2018, she was seen with an injured jaw and a half tail, which was most probably caused due to a wild boar attack. Nevertheless, she still managed to raise her two male cubs up to adulthood, proving herself as an ideal mother figure worthy of respect.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In April 2019, she was observed mating with the<\/mark> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/mada-para\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Medha P\u0101ra 2:3 male<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">around the Thalgasmankada area and in June 2019, around the Kom\u0101 Wewa area.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">In February 2021 her third known litter, a 4-5 months old female cub was seen and photographed. Unfortunately, she was found dead in June 2021, and her death was caused by a highly venomous snake bite under her neck. Even though she is no more, her brave bloodline is continued in Yala Block 1 in the name of the legendary<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Pan Wala 2:2 male (YM 16\/Lucas)<\/strong><\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">who still reigns as the dominant male in the south-east of Yala Block 1.<\/mark><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
