It seems that by that time, she established her territory there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2017, she mated with the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/mada-para\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Medha P\u0101ra 2:3 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a> around the M\u014ddharagala area. In February 2018, she was seen with three cubs, all of which were about five months old. That was her first know litter. But in March, only two cubs were seen. Those two cubs grew up to adulthood and they are designated as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/modhara-gala-33-female\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">M\u014ddharagala 3:3 female<\/span><\/strong><\/a> (2018) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/modhara-gala-34-male\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">M\u014ddharagala 3:4 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a> (2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Occasionally, she was seen with her two cubs near <strong>Medha P\u0101ra, Ehelagas Wala, and Kot\u0101bendi Wewa<\/strong>. The cubs separated from her in early 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2020, she was seen at Agil Wala of Medha P\u0101ra with her latest litter of two cubs. One cub had a deformity in its left eye. Since then for six to seven months, no one of this family was sighted. In October 2020, one of the cubs (The same one with the eye deformity &#8211; <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/agil-wala-22-male\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Agil Wala 2:2 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a>) appeared around Agil Wala with a completely recovered eye. Other cub, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/agil-wala-22-female\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Agil Wala 2:2 female<\/span><\/strong><\/a> also recorded from Kotabadhi Wewa and Modharagala areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2021 this female was seen mating with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/galalukada-wewa-33-male\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Galalukada Wewa 3:3 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a> at Chaithya road and again in April 2021 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leopardtrails.com\/leopardsofyala\/leopards-of-yala\/mada-para\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Medha Para 2:3 male<\/span><\/strong><\/a> at Medha para.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Gala = rock] M\u014ddharagala 2:3 female was first photographed at Medha P\u0101ra in May 2012.
