[Palu = Ceylon Ironwood (Manilkara hexandra) , Gas = Tree, Wala = Waterhole]
Palugas Wala 4:2 female was born in late 2018, around Karawgas Wala and Ūraniya area with another sibling. Their mother was the Rathmal Wala 4:4 female (This was her first recorded litter). The other sibling went missing but the mother and this female (as a cub) have been seen around Palugas Wala, Karawgas Wala, Vihanga Wala, Buthawa Plains, Buthawa Wewa area, Maliththankotuwa, and Rathmal Wala.
From September 2020 to December 2020, she was seen around the Galalukada Wewa area. Seems like she was looking for a territory out there, due to the high density of leopards in her born area. Anyways, she was seen again around Buthawa Plain, Karawgas Wala, Uraniya, and Welmalkema since the beginning of 2021. In April 2021, she was seen mating with Kaluwara Bōkkuwa 2:3 male at Welmalkema.
As her mother Rathmal Wala 4:4 female went missing in April 2021, she was able to occupy a territory around Karawagas Wala, Uraniya, Gonagala Wewa, Maliththankotuwa Wala, Buthawa Wewa, and Meynet Wewa. In April 2022 she was seen around Eagle Bokkuwa and she looked pregnant.
In August 2022 she was spotted with her single cub (assumed to be a male cub) at Vihanga Wala. Until January 2023, this mother and cub pair was frequently spotted. The cub is thought to have died in early 2023, and the mother was seen alone throughout the year.
